Prince William and Kate Middleton

Prince Harry is back to his important responsibilities – well, for now, at least!

The 35-year-old Duke of Sussex made his first public appearance Thursday morning since he and his wife Meghan Markle announced that they would return as senior members of the royal family. And the look went … well? Somewhat ?!

The Prince did his thing on the grounds at Buckingham Palace, publicly hosting the Rugby League World Cup 2021 for men, women, and wheelchair tournaments. By all accounts from those in attendance, he seemed to be in good spirits and enjoyed bringing kids playing rugby on the lawn outside.

The lone hiccup came as the press piped in, and a member of the royal reporter corps called Harry a question about his and Meghan’s future. The red-headed king has not said anything publicly about this, but his refusal has required all the response!

Ch-ch-check what we mean from a reporter on the scene there today (below):

Prince Harry ignored questions from BP’s garden media about how the talk was shaping his and Meghan’s future. He returned to the media but seemed to laugh when the first question was asked. He’s still funny! 😃 😊

Ha !!!

Sometimes, you just have to shake and laugh, or whatever. And yes, he somehow smiles about things, no matter how shocking the last few weeks have been …

By all accounts, the rest of the event itself went off without a hitch, so at least that’s it!

While Harry may have laughed about the inevitable talk about his life-changing announcement, the older brother Prince William was in a much less cheery state when it came time for his fix on the media gauntlet. Brave upper lip and all that, you know!

The 37-year-old Duke of Cambridge and his wife, 38 years old Kate Middleton, made their own public appearance addressing young and local entrepreneurs and women in West Yorkshire on Wednesday afternoon. And during the show, William dropped a quote that applied to people attending the event … but also the low key that really applies to his family’s current situation.

The Duke seems to have noticed all the family drama by saying:

“Sometimes trying to understand people is OK to have these challenges. We just have to deal with them and we need to move forward rather than just get stuck in paralysis and pretend that it doesn’t happen.”

Amen, amen, amen! Good advice for kids in public events and great advice for William’s royal cohorts as they continue to respond to the fall from #Megxit, you know ?!

What do you think about the ongoing drama, Perezcious readers ?! It seems like life is trying to get a little back to normal for time at public events like this, but something tells us we’re not far from another media bombshell and a few more days of heavy drama! Just hunters! Ha!
