Actress Deepika Padukone says that the success of each film depends on its impact and longevity in the market.
“I feel that now, more than ever, the success of a film is really what it can have on people’s lives. Can we change our minds? Can we influence? And don’t get me wrong, not every story has to be hit hard. It can be a simple emotion, such as joy or love. If you feel something, think about it and evoke emotions. I think it’s really a measure of success. The film should be longevity. The film that I would like to watch in 10 years is a success for me, ”Deepika said at the beginning of her upcoming film“ Chhapaak ”.

Director Meghna Gulzar and co-founder of Deepika Vikrant Massey were also present at the trailer. In the film Deepika depicts the true acid attack that Laxmi Agarwal survived.
Deepika also talked about working with orthotics and makeup artists to get the look of an acid attack victim.
“It’s so ionic, I didn’t even know what I’d feel when I first saw myself in the mirror (after makeup). I remember this moment very well when we were doing the Fox Studio look test. It took me four to five hours to look at it, and when I looked at myself in the mirror, I told Meghne that I still felt like me. Nothing has changed. This is the day I found my character, and I knew what I had to do in this movie. I do not think that we are defined by our external appearances, ”she said.
Deepika said she was interested in such a demanding and austere story, said that her story was inspiring and knew that Meghna Gulzar would be fair to the film. “You don’t often encounter a story that inspires you so much, and it’s not an incident, except a triumph over it. I was very happy to meet Lax Aggarwal. One of the most important things is the marriage between having the right person tell the story. I saw sincerity and sincerity and I knew I was in good hands, ”the actress explained.
Deepika added, “Very often you come across great stories, but you also need the right director to tell the story in an authentic, honest and responsible way – especially when you tell a story like this.”
“Chhapaak produces” Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in partnership with Fox Star Studios. It is scheduled for January 10.
