Adamawa State Police Commissioner Audu Madaki on Thursday promised a handsome reward to anyone with useful information leading to the arrest of the murderers of a journalist, Maxwell Nashion, in Yola.

The Nigerian news agency (NAN) recalls that unknown assailants attacked Nashion, an employee of the FM station of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), popularly known as Fombina FM Yola, on Wednesday. death.

Command spokesman DSP Suleiman Yahaya, who announced the award to reporters to Yola, said the commissioner was unhappy with the incident and would ensure that the killers are arrested.

Yahaya, who did not disclose the amount set aside by the commissioner for anyone with relevant information, said that something reasonable would be given as a reward.

He said the police had started a 24-hour investigation and surveillance to arrest the killers.

The deceased, born in 1980, joined FRCN in 2011, is survived by a father, a mother and brothers and sisters.
