Kyrie Irving believes the Brooklyn Nets will need one or two more parts to become a top contender in the NBA.

“I mean, it’s transparent. It’s out there, it’s blatant about the parts we need to be on the next level.

I feel like we have great tracks, but it’s pretty blatant that we need another track or two to complement me, KD, DJ (Deandre Jordan), GT (Garrett Temple), Spence (r Dinwiddie), Caris (LeVert) and we’ll see how that goes, ”said Irving after Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

The Nets lost to the Philadelphia 76ers (117-106) after taking their last loss in their last 11 games.

They are now eighth in the east, with an 18-22 record.

After the loss to Philly, Kyrie Irving was asked how much work the networks still have to do to compete at the highest level while waiting for Kevin Durant’s return. Here is Irving’s answer:
