Imo: Ihedioha finally breaks the silence on the judgment of the Supreme Court which removed it from power

Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Imo State, responded to a viral photo of him crying, which was posted online after his dismissal by the Supreme Court.

In the photo, which has gone viral on social networks, Ihedioha was seen with his head on his desk crying.

Recall that the Supreme Court had canceled his election yesterday while declaring Hope Uzodinma of Congress all progressive, APC, winner of the elections for the post of governor of Imo State.

There are allegations that Ihedioha fell into tears after the Supreme Court judgment.

However, the sacked governor explained that the much-talked-about photo was taken at the funeral of his former commissioner in December 2019.

In a statement to the media, AIC Akwarandu, the former governor, said: “The image that circulates online in no way represents the mood of the former governor, Emeka Ihedioha, while Supreme Court has been announced.

“The photos were taken on Friday, December 20, 2019, when the then governor received the body of his environment commissioner, the late Hon. Tony Okere, in the Council Chamber ”.
