HBO's 'Watchmen' Easter Egg Confirmed in 'Crisis On Infinite Earths'

An Easter egg for HBO’s Watchmen was seen in Crisis on Infinite Earths and has now been confirmed by showrunner Marc Guggenheim.

Crisis on Infinite Earths still has two parts to go, but over the years there has been an abundance of references to many DC TV shows. While Crisis on Infinite Earths started this week and ends next year, HBO’s Watchmen ends on Sunday.

The Watchmen series from HBO is perhaps one of the best of DCTV, but nobody expected to participate in the ultimate crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths. However, in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three, fans noted that there was a Watchmen billboard with a squid on Lucifer’s Earth-666. Crisis on Infinite Earths showrunner Marc Guggenheim later confirmed the Watchmen Easter egg on Twitter while thanking Damon Lindelof.

And last but not least. Someone noticed. Special thanks to Damon Lindelof for making this possible.
