FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) – Crews repaired a 12-inch water pipe that burst in a quarter of Fort Lauderdale.

City officials announced on Thursday morning that the main water break in the area of ​​Northeast Fourth Street and Seventh Avenue was repaired late Wednesday evening and water supply was restored.

The Boiling Water Warning issued for part of the Victoria Park neighborhood remains in effect.

Residents in the area between Northeast Second and Northeast Fifth Street, between Northeast Seventh and Northeast Ninth Avenue are advised to continue boiling their water until further notice.

Northeast Fourth Street has reopened, but drivers should expect closings between Northeast Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue on Thursday as the crews complete the restoration work.
