There is one more weekend of college football before the bowling season: the championship weekend. CBS Sports has presented its new ranking of power in the decisive weekend for many teams.

With Alabama's loss to Auburn, Crimson Tide was eliminated from the top 10 and replaced by the winners of the Iron Bowl. Wisconsin also returned to the top 10 after beating Minnesota to claim a place in the Big Ten title game.

But the first four have remained stable with Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia while maintaining their roles. The only big change there is the exchange of Ohio State locations with LSU after beating the Michigan Wolverines.

Here is the top 10 CBS college football that goes to the Championship Weekend, courtesy of Dennis Dodd:

  1. Ohio State
  2. LSU
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Utah
  7. Florida
  8. Baylor
  9. Brown
  10. Wisconsin

Each conference title game in the Power Five will have University Soccer Playoff implications.

Georgia losing to LSU will surely open the door for champion Big 12 or Pac-12 to replace them. But if Georgia wins and LSU loses, perhaps both teams continue to participate in the tournament.

One thing is certain: each of the teams that play in the Championship Weekend will be attentive to the results of the other games.
