No Time To Die may be Daniel Craig’s last outing as James Bond, but the soft superspy won’t be played by a woman in the next movie, the producers confirmed.

While there have been calls for a Bond or an actor who is not white to take on the role, the producers have talked about what they are looking for during the casting.

Barbara Broccoli, who oversees the franchise with her half-brother Michael G. Wilson, revealed what we can expect from Vanity Fair: ‘It can be any color, but it’s a man.

‘I think we should create new characters for women: strong female characters. I am not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman interpret it. I think women are much more interesting than that. “

Michael added: “You think it’s from Britain or the Commonwealth, but Britain is a very diverse place.”

Barbara also admitted that she finds it difficult to accept that Daniel leave the franchise after five successful shifts like Bond.

‘I am in total denial. I accepted what Daniel said, but I still deny it. It’s too traumatic for me. “

No Time To Die is the 25th installment of the James Bond movies, and this week it was announced that Billie Eilish would be the one to create the main song for the next movie.

The James Bond Twitter account confirmed the news, tweeting: ‘The title song #NoTimeToDie will be performed by @billieeilish.

“Billie has written the song with her brother @finneas and is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond song.”

Details on what the story of the next movie will be are still secret, but judging from the behind-the-scenes photos, it will be as action-packed as the previous ones.

The only fact that Barbara will give for now is: “We have reached an emotionally satisfactory conclusion.”

No Time To Die will be released in theaters on April 2.
